This dish is amazing and it has so many of my favorite ingredients like feta, olives, and peppers, just to name a few.  Also, it contains one of my new pasta obsessions which is orzo.  For years, I was in love with couscous but now orzo is my small pasta of choice.  Orzo looks like rice but it is pasta and cooks quicker than you can say OPA!

I can admit it.  I become a bit obsessed with cooking stew in the fall and winter.  If I made it once a week that would be fine with me and I doubt there would be complaints from my husband.  We both love coming home at the end of the day to a house smelling of stew cooking away in the crock-pot.  This particular stew recipe has the added benefit of containing one of my favorite cooking ingredients–Guinness.

I loves me some pizza.  I started making homemade pizza as a kid on camping trips.  It was so fun warming it up over the camp fire and even the times I ate it when we did not have a fire to warm it on.  When I got a bit older, I brought the homemade pizza into the kitchen and my mom made me make it every time I came home from college.  Some times we get very fancy with homemade crust.  But I think I like it more when I eat it on pitas as if I was a kid again camping in the Northwoods.

HOT Hot hot sauce!  About three weeks ago we received a bag of hot peppers from our farmers.  All summer I loved adding them to any dish possible, but with this large of a quantity I knew I had to preserve them some how.  After checking out a few recipes online, I decided I could easily make hot sauce.  Now that it has had some time to settle, I can verify that it is smokin’ with flavor. Okay this salad is not that fat but it is tasty.  We have tons of lettuce from the CSA this time of year so we have to keep chowing down on salads.  This post is really for the dressing I made for the salad because how can you go wrong with ingredients for a greek salad.
